AGNES MONICA FROM A LITTLE STAR TO THE WORLD’S NEXT BIG SUPERSTAR

A photo collection of Agnes Monica from age 6, when her career started as a children singer and a TV presenter for a children music programme. As she grew up as a teenager, Agnes Monica stepped in to the film Industry by playing a role as DINI in “Pernikahan Dini”.  This is one of the most successful drama series in Indonesia. Agnes Monica awarded Panasonic Award for Most favorite actress and Best Actress SCTV Award.
Agnes launched her first Adult album “and the story goes”. This album became best seller in Indonesia and  awarded best female artist, best dance and best duo album Anugrah Musik Indonesia (equal to Grammy) and also awarded Best New comer Anugrah Planet Muzik (equal Grammy), Singapore.
In 2005, Agnes launched her second Album “Whaddup”. in this Album, she collaborated with American RnB singer Keith Martin. This album was awarded two Anugrah Musik Indonesia and MTV music Award for Most favorite female artist.
In 2006, Agnes appeared in two Taiwanese dramas The Hospital with Jerry Yan and Romance in the white house with Peter Ho.
In the same year Agnes held her first concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she also was the opening act of Grammy Award winner boy band  Boys II Men concert in Jakarta and was the special guest star in Asian Idol 2006.
In 2008, Agnes launched her third album Sacredly Agnezious. This album become best seller with over 3 million RBT within 8 months, and most watched video on You Tube. Just like her previous album, Agnes again awarded two Anugrah Musik Indonesia and MTV music awards.
Still in the same year, Agnes performed in Asia song festival in Korea and awarded Best Asian Artist. In 2009, Again in the Asia song festival Korea, Agnes performed for the second time and again awarded Best Asian Artist.
In 2010, Agnes Monica was appointed as the judge of Indonesian Idol and became the ambassador of MTV EXIT.
In November 2010, Agnes again makes the Indonesian proud by being the first ever south east Asian artist to Host the Red Carpet of American Music Award and was honored to perform Live with Christian Chavez.
In 2011, Agnes career seems to be much wider as she was chosen by Grammy award winning legend Michael Bolton to be his duet partner to re-record his best song Said I love you but I Lied.
Right now Agnes is doing her called biggest project for her 1st International Album in USA and scheduled to collaborate with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Mike Posner.
Another amazing achievement for Agnes Monica this year is to be a nominee of MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 category Asia pacific worldwide Act. Other nominees are: Big bang (Korea), Sia (Australia),Jay chou(China), Jane zang (Taiwan), Gotye (Australia), Exile (Japan).
